Spring decor

                 Spring has sprung, with a major snowstorm !  Dont despair, it gives us all time to start our spring decorating, before we want to be outside all the time ! 

     

 

The barn....before the huge clean up, addition of lights, 30 tons of gravel for the floor, and a lot of elbow grease and love !!

  Where we moved to on a full time basis !  After 2 summers in the barn, we made the leap of faith, and in Nov 2012, opened full time in the historic building in front of the barn ! The clean barn will be open this summer for garden decor and accessories......if all goes well !!!

   Now that the BARN is twinned with HIBOU DECOR ( Hibou is a  full time retail outlet, the barn a funky seasonal event sale ), we have decided to keep our followers updated  via this blog.....a quick way to keep abreast of upcoming events, recent acquisitions in the store, paint classes, design news, etc.
 Our next blog will chronicle the transition : our humble beginnings when we first unlocked the barn  ( a storage barn for many years...a disaster that took 4 days to clean , and 30 tons of gravel to level the floor ! ) to a look at our present full time digs : HIBOU DECOR ......a wood floor and real walls, and more than one electrical outlet ! Sheer luxury !!!
